Short Bio

Katayon Radkhah received the Dipl.-Inform. degree in computer science with focus on automation and control engineering from the Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2007. During her studies at the TU Darmstadt and the University of British-Columbia she focused on the problem of static and dynamic calibration for industrial robot arms. She continued her education at the TU Darmstadt, where she passed her doctoral examination (grade: passed with distinction; summa cum laude) in the group of Oskar von Stryk on June 18, 2013. Her main research interests include human-inspired bipedal robots, motion control, compliant actuation, and dynamics simulations.
